Unlock Perfect Sound: The Ultimate Test CD for Audiophile Precision

Track 1, 2, 3 – Checking the correct phase setup in the speakers. With correctly made connections, both inside the equipment and in the speaker filters, interconnect and speaker cables, the narrator’s voice will sound strictly between the speakers at all three frequencies. With incorrect connections, the sound will be on the left and right of the speakers.
Track 4 – An artificial recording of the tambourine sound moving in a circle around two microphones. Used for preliminary speaker setup. The sound should move evenly in a circle around the listener.
Track 5 – A natural recording of the tambourine sound moving in a circle around two microphones. Used for final speaker setup. The sound should move evenly in a circle, and not be perceived as “jumping,” lingering in one place, changing volume, or simply moving left-right.
Track 6 – Checking the “cohesiveness” of the piano sound. With speakers placed very far apart, the sound in the middle between them can seem absent. However, the speakers should be spread as far apart as possible.
Track 7 – Checking the depth of the soundstage. The sound of the first tambourine hits is recorded between the microphones. Subsequent tambourine hits are recorded moving away from the microphones into the depth of the stage. With these movements into the stage depth, the sound of the room volume should increasingly prevail.
Track 8 (main test track) – The sound of horse movement should start in the front left corner of the room, pass through the listener, and end in the rear right corner of the room. The movement should be smooth, without jumps or delays.
Track 9 – This track is rich with both bright effects and quiet sounds, with very sharply defined triangle sound.
Track 10 – The quiet sound of the drum brush in the right channel should be clearly distinguishable, circular in rhythm with the composition.
Track 11 – This track is the most “difficult” because it should convey the emotional component of the young performer as well as the unique sound of the piano.
Track 12 – This track demonstrates a large room volume.
Track 13 – This track vividly illustrates the volume of a train station hall.
Track 14 – This track allows you to clearly hear the quiet sounds of people talking in the hall, the clinking of dishes, etc.
Track 15 – Demonstration of special effects.
Track 16 – The gradual transition from the sound of voices and footsteps in open space to the sound of voices and footsteps in an enclosed space – a cave – is clearly audible.
Track 17 – An artificial quiet sound, after-sound – a bell (2:50 min. – 3:40 min.).
Track 18 – Sharply recorded (with crunch) bell sounds against the background of surf noise.
Track 19 – Demonstration of well-recorded guitar sounds.
Track 20 – Guitar and accordion (the creak of the accordion’s bellows should be clearly audible).
Track 21 – Guitar and saxophone (the saxophone with the so-called “ball” resonance – original, expressive sound).
Track 22 – Expressive saxophone part sound against the background of the orchestra (the sound of the saxophone valves is well recorded and audible).
Track 23 – Demonstration of the naturalness of instrument timbres.
Track 24 – Additional track – for demagnetizing system components. 3:05 min. of cacophony should be played at medium or above medium volume level. (NOTE: with the sound turned off – there is no demagnetizing effect).
