Diffuser ID2 Type

Sound Diffuser keeps your room lively because they do not absorb sound waves. The Diffuser scatters sound waves and spreads them around the room. With the right combination of Diffusers and Absorbers, a sound-balanced room can be achieved. When choosing a suitable place to mount the ID2 Type Diffuser, we should first remember that the Diffuser should be at least 1,5 meter away from the listener.
That distance is determined by the lower frequency that the Diffuser can dissipate. ID2 Type Diffuser effective frequency range starts from 470 Hz and offers effective and even diffusion up through 5200 Hz. The ID2 Type Diffuser offers additional scattering to the upper limit of 6800 Hz.
This Diffuser is custom made product fully adoptable to the customer needs, by color and dimension. Standard Cell dimension is 61,3 x 61,3 cm, and you can easy multiplied them. Diffuser has unique hanging design, that allows to you to orient his diffusion capabilities to both – horizontal and vertical sound wave dispersion. Diffuser is designed and built to be mounted on the wall, not to the ceiling.
Recommended mounting positions:

Front Wall between the speakers. Diffuser mounted on the front wall , will improve sound clarity, and it will create a more spacious sound stage, especially when combined with absorption on the rear corners of the wall. Putting them to the front wall between your speakers, you’ll finally achieve a real sound stage and real image precision, depth and clarity instead of the “false 3D sound” that is mostly common in acoustically untreated room.

Rear wall behind the listening position If your listening position is far enough from the rear wall (at least 1,2 meters), the Diffuser on the rear wall has enough space to evenly distribute the sound energy, ensuring the best acoustic experience.

First sound reflections on the side walls Diffusers in combination with Absorbers installed at the first reflection point, provide more liveliness in your high-end listening room. This kind of setup prevents sound energy to be reflected directly to your listening position by the flat walls.
