Fully working Akai GX-747 in good condition. Reels and nabs are not included in the kit.
Produced by Akai since 1983. This is undoubtedly one of the most advanced models from Akai, which cannot be compared with previous ones, either in electronic or mechanical characteristics. The GX-747 can be considered an improved version of the Akai GX-646. Operation is ensured by 3 motors, as well as installed 6 “GX” heads. The motor drive shaft has quartz stabilization. Accordingly, a new “EE” technology was used for film recording/playback, recording and playback function in reverse mode, 2-color LED signal level indicators (24 segments), “through channel” function, digital electronic counter with memory function, ability to adjust the bias current, speed adjustment, recording and playback timer.
It is possible to connect a remote control.
